Please and Thank You:  The Beginnings of Gratitude

In the video below +Lee Brower talks about how gratitude begins with politeness – saying “please” and “thank you” – and “you’re welcome”.  He makes the point that shrugging off or minimizing a “thank you” diminishes the expression of gratitude and that learning to gracefully and sincerely accept gratitude with “you’re welcome” is an important part of being a grateful
