Philosophies of Life in Letters to Children

By Ron Nakamoto

I've struggled to compose a comprehensive True Wealth Philosophy.  Yet I believe that even having an incomplete, work-in-progress document is useful because it guides planning and the implementation of many business and personal strategies.  This brief blog post by +Maria Popova quotes from a letter written by Clare Boothe Luce to her only child.  This letter inspired me to write a letter to my own son (note: Clare Boothe Luce's daughter was killed in a car accident the year after her letter was written).  In the process, I discovered that I was able to give voice and structure to some ideas that I had not articulated in the past.  Nevertheless, this task remains difficult but its one that can't be delegated or ignored.
