If boredom has become a sickness in modern societies, this is because the knack of finding meaning is harder to come by – Dougald Hine
Dougald Hine writes in the article below about how meaning is the missing element in a world filled with information and access to information. What Hine does not develop in his article is a clear path on how to go about discovering meaning. He writes:
Information is perhaps the rawest material in the process out of which we arrive at meaning: an undifferentiated stream of sense and nonsense in which we go fishing for facts. But the journey
from information to meaning involves more than simply filtering the signal from the noise. It is an alchemical transformation, always surprising. It takes skill, time and effort, practice and patience. No matter how experienced we become, success cannot be guaranteed.
I think that the discipline and the habits that are built into Empowered Wealth’s principles, concepts, and tools as well as the delivery system that Empowered Wealth Connect represents, lend themselves to the “alchemical transformation” that Hind refers to. In other words, the process of developing an Empowered Wealth Mindset has within it the opportunity to discover greater meaning in a sea of information – the world of change and disruption that we often refer to.
