The iPhone and the Googlization of Financial Planning?

By Ron Nakamoto

One of the coolest iPhone features is Siri. It’s a little imperfect now but it’s bound to get better.

Although Siri has attracted a lot of attention, Google has also developed an artificial intelligence application with some interesting implications. In this video, Google illustrates its vision for mobile artificial intelligence

By applying its vast search capabilities with an emerging branch of search called “semantic Web”, Google is giving us a glimpse of what a mobile device with artificial intelligence operating in the cloud could do. What if this sort of capability were applied to household financial management, financial planning, investment management, etc.? What if people gave Google permission to access all of their financial data and let Google develop algorithms that got better and better at optimizing financial wealth?

But would that lead to True Wealth?
