For just a moment, let's set aside our political differences, our opinions about healthcare, taxes, the Fiscal Cliff, personalities, and anything else. Last night President Obama challenged us as leaders:
"Are we really prepared to say that we’re powerless in the face of such carnage — that the politics are too hard?…Community means that we’re all parents, that they’re all our children. This is our first task: caring for our children. It’s our first job. If we don’t get that right, we don’t get anything right. That’s how, as a society, we will be judged…"
I see the President's challenge as another way of expresssing the #empoweredwealth challenge: let's take responsibility and empower our families.

President Obama Speaks in Newtown
Words of hope, healing, and a pledge from the President of the United States.
President Obama was in Newtown, Connecticut today, attending a memorial for those who lost their lives in the mass shooting that took place at the Sandy Hook Elementary School on Friday. NPR reports that the President has pledged to take action. He said,
