A Measure of True Wealth

By Dave

True wealth is subjective in many ways. It encompasses people’s evaluations of life, work, relationships, money, happiness, and other concepts.

Empowered Wealth emphasizes the importance of clarifying and finding a balance among all these to enjoy predictable results and the blessings of true wealth. A quality life is the result of having true wealth.

True wealth is not a destination—it is an ongoing process. When we secure a material existence, develop ourselves spiritually, and use our strengths in pursuit of our highest values, we are building our true wealth balance sheets. Security and comfort are tangible resources we enjoy from our Financial Assets. These assets also provide a means to develop our Core, Experience, and Contribution Assets. Our real sense of meaning and purpose is larger than ourselves and connects us to humanity and nature.

True wealth is daily life satisfaction with positive emotions and an abundance of joy, love, commitment, and gratitude. These deeply embedded and meaningful relationships fuel our desire to empower our posterity and create a legacy.
